Mike Wall was hired in 2008 as the future successor of Custom Wood Products. The past five years Mike served as shop foreman, and in January 2014 Custom Wood Products welcomed Mike as its new owner. Grateful for the partnership with Milf and Shar throughout the ongoing transition, Mike plans to carry on the quality and reputation that Custom Wood Products developed over the past 30 years.
Prior to moving back to his hometown Mike worked for Lemons Millwork in Albany, Oregon, serving as Head Sawyer for the commercial cabinetry shop. While in the Pacific Northwest he also began Summit View Woodworking, a custom cabinet shop that was focused on furniture design. Not long after, though, Mike learned of Custom Wood Products' opportunity for him to move back to Henderson and be a part of their team. Embracing the opportunity to become the future owner of the custom woodshop, Mike joined the creative team and today adds his woodworking abilities to the shop's focus on high quality products. Mike is an artist who loves discovering and building creative solutions; to him a kitchen is not just functional, it serves as art that reflects the owners personality as well. Additionally, Mike loves music and shares his gift in the Henderson community. He studied music performance at the University of Nebraska where he sang opera, and was a member of the Willamette Master Chorus in Salem, Oregon. Mike is married to Andrea Wall, Custom Wood Products' co-owner and marketing specialist, and the two are expecting their first child in June 2014. |
